Crafted with Legacy, Sharpened by Precision — 80 Years of File Manufacturing Excellence
Since our founding in 1946, we have been rooted in the traditional craft of file manufacturing, embodying the true spirit of craftsmanship for nearly eight decades. From the delicate precision of jewelry files to the rugged durability of farrier rasps and the sharp cutting power of chainsaw files, each product we make reflects our relentless pursuit of quality.
In this era of rapid transformation, we recognize that traditional manufacturing must evolve to stay relevant. That’s why, while preserving the essence of classic techniques, we continually innovate with new materials and advanced processes. By combining premium-grade steel with expert heat treatment technologies, we ensure our files withstand the test of time—delivering comfort, reliability, and lasting performance to every craftsman.

Development History
Established in 1946, the factory is named Jinhua Steel File Chang and is a private enterprise founded by four shareholders. Its founding address is No. 13 Donghuayuan Street (Xianshiqiao Street), covering an area of 40 square meters and employing eight people (one shopkeeper, one accountant and cook, three technical workers, and three apprentices). The main equipment includes one mechanical transmission gear cutting machine, one manual grinding wheel polishing machine, one sandblasting machine, one air compressor, and several devices are driven by a single overhead shaft. Due to the low power of the celestial axis, several devices cannot be used simultaneously. At that time, the output was 40 files per day, and the file blanks were processed externally using waste track steel or waste spring bow plate steel.
